Fluent in English, French, and Arabic, Vanessa grew up in Nigeria with Lebanese roots. She currently works in management consulting and lives in New York City, where she focuses on strategy across the Consumer sector, with experience spanning beauty and personal care, food and beverage, and apparel. She graduated from the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in English.

During her time at Penn State, she founded an organization to promote cultural awareness, organized a free clinic that delivered $80,000 worth of healthcare to underserved communities, completed an honors thesis on Arab feminism, and was featured on the occasional magazine cover, experiences that shaped a meaningful and rewarding college journey.

Hannah is currently a Master’s student, she is a researcher as part of her degree and studies combustion of gas species found in rocket propellants. She has always enjoyed engineering and has worked in both nuclear and manufacturing industries. She prioritizes a good work-life balance and enjoys hiking, dancing, weightlifting, and hanging out with her friends and family.

Feven is originally from Ethiopia but has spent the majority of her life growing up in the United States. She attended Penn State, where she studied MIS, and she is currently working as a consultant. She is happy to connect with anyone who has questions about navigating college, internships, or the transition into post-grad life and the working world.

She knows how helpful it can be to have someone to talk to when figuring things out, and she is more than willing to share her experience, offer guidance, or just be a sounding board if needed!

Mia is a recent graduate based between Peru and Panama who decided to major in both quantitative and qualitative fields because she highly valued being a well-rounded professional. That is the same reason that motivated her to pursue a career in business consulting. Currently, she works for EY in the Financial Services Office (FSO) in Panama City.

Samiha was born and raised in Queens, New York, and she is a proud first-generation college graduate. She graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and recently earned her Master’s in Project Management. As someone who has navigated the college application process and higher education largely on her own, she is passionate about mentoring and supporting students as they pursue their goals with confidence. She plans to attend law school soon and hopes to become an immigration attorney dedicated to advocating for immigrant communities and expanding access to opportunity.
